A research roundup published in 2017 that looked at 12 different studies found that fiber supplements helped people lose weight. On average, participants in the studies lost 5.5 pounds. The studies lasted anywhere from 2-17 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The important thing about the studies is that they used fiber supplements. By isolating fiber in the form of a supplement, you can see how much of an impact it truly has on the body.
